Microsoft reportedly will prepare specifications for the standard Windows mobile phone low-end segment.

As quoted PULSAonline via phonearena, noted that most of these specifications will be compatible with all versions of Windows Phone, including multitouch support at least up to 4 points, A-GPS, accelerometer, compass, at least 3 MP camera, microUSB and 3 mm headphone connector.

The big difference lies in the present minimum standards of internal memory, where the standard specification has only internal memory capacity of a minimum of only 2 GB, instead of 8 GB.

Unfortunately, the minimum CPU requirements as well as several other aspects of the requirements for low-end Windows mobile phone is still somewhat a mystery.

However, as we know, internal storage media that is smaller effective way to reduce sales costs imposed on a device.
