Computer Games Magazine “CG” launches in the UK

Our friends at Technology Market have launched the first issue of their ambitious new project “CG” (Computer Games Magazine). CG’s is available now for £1.00 (approx. $1.64 US), it features industry insight, game reviews, top gaming charts and more.

The inaugural issue highlights include:

The Adventures of Tintin – the Game
Mortal Kombat Arcade
Call of Duty: Black Ops Resurrection
Virtua Fight 5 Street Fighter III: Third Strike Online Edition
PES 2012
Dragon’s Call 2.0
Eve Online
Top Games Charts

If you have any interest in gaming you owe it to yourself to check it out, the layout, typography and illustrations are beautiful. Even though I’m not an avid gamer I enjoyed reading about the update to the classic coin-op Mortal Kombat, as well as the other Arcade classic Street Fighter.

My favorite feature is “ The Adventure of Tintin” a game being developed by Ubisoft that is scheduled to be released along with the feature film that is slated to be directed by Steven Spielberg. Both the game and the film are based on a classic series of comic books created by the Belgian artist Georges Rémi who wrote under the pen name Hergé.

If the game proves to be as fun to play as the comic books were to read, I can’t hardly wait to see what kind of trouble Tintin and his dog Snowy, get into.
